We’ve recently had the pleasure of photographing several York City Ladies matches - including their history-making FA Cup win that sent them into the Third Round in front of a record-breaking crowd. As someone who enjoys sports photography in York moments like these are a privilege to capture. We’ve enjoyed it so much that we’re now committed to shooting the remaining home fixtures this season!

What It’s Like Photographing the Team


High-pace and high-intensity football is never easy to shoot. As any football photographer knows, you can’t chase every moment - even with top-tier gear, some of the magic will happen at the opposite end of the pitch or behind a perfectly-timed obstruction.


But the Minsterbelles make things exciting. Their matches are packed with challenges, tackles and absolute screamers into the back of the net - plenty of action to keep any sports photographer on their toes!
